Maksimov Kondrat
Kondrat Yevdokimovich Maksimov was born in 1894 in the village Shishkino of Vyatskaya gubrenya. In 1914-1917 he studied at the Kazan Art School. Kondrat Yevdokimovich Maksimov is People's artist of Tataria, one of the oldest painters of the republic. In his works he praises the beauty of native nature. A coniferous wood is a dear theme for the artist. The range of his 'coniferous landscapes' varies from small etudes up to epic canvases. 'The Pine wood. The road to the Kama.' (1953), 'Disturbed silence' (1966). He found his ideas in the outskirts of Kazan, on the banks of the Volga and the Kama (such pictures as "Woken silence" (1973)). The artist pays a lot of attention to still lives. There are bouquets of garden (peonies, phloxes, gold spheres), and more often wild flowers, in pictures " Wild flowers " (1955), "Grapes and a white vase " (1956). The basic genres of creativity of the artist are landscapes and still lives. Authentic reproduction of nature, his attempt to transfer its various forms most precisely was a characteristic feature of the artist during all his creative life and has defined the originality of his art gift. |
