Iskhakov Kamil Shamilievich
The head of administration.
The chairman of Chamber of cities of the Union of historical cities and
regions of Russia, member of the International council of the World
federation of twin towns, corresponding member of the International academy
of information. In 1996 was put in the list of ten best mayors of the
Russian Federation at the All-Russian competition "Mayor-96".
He was born on February 8, 1949 in the city of Kazan. From 1965 to 1969 he
worked as an electrical engineer of communication of telephone exchange at
the chemical plant n.a. Kuibyshev.
From 1969 to 1973 - student of the Kazan state university.
From 1973 to 1980 - the first secretary of Soviet regional committee of
LYCLSU.
From 1980 to 1988 - the deputy director on staff and regime, director of
Kazan scientific educational centre "Algorithm", general director of Kazan
scientific and production association of computer facilities and computer
science - director of the Kazan scientific educational centre of the State
committee of the USSR on computer facilities and computer science.
From 1989 to 1991 - chairman of executive committee of the Kazan city
council of People's Deputies.
From 1991 to 1993 - the head of administration of the city of Kazan.
From 1993 to 1995 - Chairman of the Kazan city council of People's
Deputies, head of administration of the city of Kazan.
Since 1995 - Chairman of the Kazan council of People's Deputies, the head
of administration of the city of Kazan.

Corresponding member of the International Academy of information (1993);
The member of the Organization of cities of the World heritage (1997);
The chairman of Chamber of historical cities and regions of Russia (1999);
Vice-president of the European association of cities and regions (1999);
The president of regional branch of the Centre of assistance to programs
of UNESCO;

the Incorporated Europe (2000).
