Kazan subway - quick glance

Kazan administration spoke so much about the necessity of subway in the city, but what do we see inside?
For example, on Sunday afternoon one couldnt get into Gabdullah Tukay station because the computers froze! The queue was incredibly long, people were waiting, all by the way bewildered why they need this kind of transportation if there will be just several stations, better to use a bus.
Nobody explained anything, whole families were just standing and waiting.
So, all trains were going absolutely empty but the workers of the subway didnt wish to solve this problem anyhow. They didnt even announce that there is no way to use subway for now.
In about one hour they started to let people in, taking those super-modern tokens and throwing them into a metallic backet! Yes, thats 21st century! Not more not less. Those tokens are valid only on the day of purchase. Yes, we remember how the President of the Russian Federation was praising our technical and scientifical progress.
And this all happens just a week after the subway was opened. |
