Along old Kazan streets

The Institute of History named after Marjani and the National museum of the Tatarstan Republic made a nice present to Kazaners and guests of the capital for 1000-year anniversary - guide "Along Old Kazan Streets"...
There are more than 700 photos of Kazan of the second half of XIX - beginning of XX centuries.
The author of the guide is Rimma Idrisova, she works in the National Museum funds, the idea belongs to Fedor Chumakov.
It's a very interesting and in many things a unique edition. First time photographs showing us the architectural peculiarity, incomparable spiritual life and life style of Kazan and its citizens of the second half of XIX - beginning of XX centuries.
All materials are divided into 11 routes. So one can independently make up his own touristic excursion.
The book contains 208 pages with illustrations. |
