Island Pyrochemical Industries proposes to create in Kazan joint enterprise on base of JSC "TASMA- holding"

Company IPI has been working on the market for the chemical production for 20 years and now it deals with the preparation of raw material for industrial and pharmaceutical chemistry, and also with the release of triacetatecellulose and film on its basis.
"TASMA" also posess the equipment for triacetatecellulose production. It was put into operation as early as 1978, but in the middle of the 1990th its operation had to be suspended because of a drop in the demand for the production. Since 2000 for servicing the government order an individual shop, designed for production of 300 tons of this raw material per year began to act here.
The products of the restored production are planned to be exported to the enterprises of the group of IPI companies and to other related European firms (90 percent - to electronics industry, 10 percent - to the producers of films).
Expected turnover is 25 mln. Euro in two years after creation of the joint enterprise. It is assumed that 200 people will work in this enterprise.
