Khusnutdinov Nail Kadyrovich
Date of birth: (20/07/1948)
The deputy of the State Duma, chairman of the Council of Tatarstan
regional branch of the organization "Regions of Russia", member of executive
committee of the World congress of Tatars.
He was born on July 20, 1948 in Kazan. In 1978 graduated from
historical-philological faculty of the Kazan state university on the
speciality "historian". His labour activity started as a mechanic-collector
at the Kazan compressor plant.
In 1967-1969 - served in army.
From 1970 to 1979 - worked as a mechanic at some enterprises of Kazan.
In 1979-1983 - taught history and social science at school of young
workers.
In 1983-1990 - worked in party bodies of Kazan and Tatar ASSR.
In 1990 he was appointed the assistant to the head of Kazan
administration.
Since 1996 - the chairman of State TV and Radio Company "Tatarstan".
In 1997 he participated in the II World congress of Tatars in Kazan, and
was elected a member of executive committee of the World congress of Tatars.
February, 11, 1998 he was fired from the post of the chairman of
"Tatarstan" TV and Radio Company because of censoring some critical
statements of the President of Tatarstan about various power structures.
March, 20, 1998 he was appointed the prefect of historical-cultural
reserved territory "Old-Tatar Sloboda".
Since May, 1999 - the chairman of the Council of regional branch of the
organization "Regions of Russia".
In July, 1999 he participated in creation of movement "Tatarstan - new
century".
December 19, 1999 he was elected the deputy of the State Duma of the
Russian Federation of the third convocation. |
