Akhmetov Marat Gotovich
The assistant to the Prime Minister of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture
and foodstuff of Tatarstan
Akhmetov Marat Gotovich was born on June 16, 1954 in the village of
Khasanshaikh of Arsky district of Tatar ASSR. In 1976 he graduated from the
Kazan state veterinary institute (speciality: a veterinary), and in 1988 -
the Saratov party high school.
He began his labour activity from the graduation from the veterinary
institute in 1976 as a veterinary of collective farm n.a. Chapaev of
Baltasinsky district of Tatar ASSR, then in the period from 1978 to 1983 he
worked as the chairman of collective farm "Alga" of the same district.
From 1983 to 1991 he worked as the second, then first secretary of
Baltasinsky district party committee.
From 1991 to 1999 - the head of administration of Baltasinsky district of
Tatarstan - chairman of Baltasinsky district council of People's Deputies.
Since May 26, 1999 - the assistant to the Prime Minister of Tatarstan -
Minister of Agriculture and foodstuff of Tatarstan.
He is awarded by "Mark of Honour" (1983), "Friendship" (1995).
