Safiullin Fandas Shakirovich
The deputy of the State Duma
He was born on August 17 1936 in the village of Malbagysh of Aznakaevsky
district of Tatar ASSR.
In 1957 he finished the Saratov tank school, in 1970 he graduated from the
philosophical faculty of the Byelorussian state university.
From 1954 to 1988 - the cadet, then - the officer of the Soviet Army.
In 1988 he resigned in the rank of the colonel.
In 1990 he was elected the People's Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of
Tataria. He was the chairman of the constant commission of the Supreme
Soviet of Tatarstan on affairs of veterans of war, work, invalids and mercy.
In 1995 he was elected the deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan.
On December 19, 1999 he was elected the deputy of the State Duma of the
Russian Federation of the third convocation.
Since January 26, 2000 - a member of the Committee of the State Duma on
international affairs.
He is awarded with "For service to the Fatherland in Armed forces of the
USSR" award. |
