Demidov Alexey Ivanovich
The head of the administration of Alekseevsky district, vice-president of
the State Council of Tatarstan Republic.
He was born on March 20, 1952 in the village of Middle Devyatovo of
Laishevsky district of Tatar ASSR. He graduated from the Kazan agricultural
institute (1974). After the graduation for some time he worked as an
agriculturist of state farm "Rossia" of Laishevsky district.
Having served in army, Alexey Demidov returned to state farm "Rossia":
in 1975-1977 - the chief of plant-growing shop, in 1977-1980 - the director
of the state farm.
In 1980-1983 - he held the post of the chairman of executive committee of
Alekseevsky regional council.
In 1983-1990 - he worked in the rank of first secretary of Alekseevsky
district committee of the CPSU.
From 1990 to 1991 - he heads Alexeevsky district council,
since 1991 - he is the head of the administration of Alekseevsky district.
In 1998 he was elected the deputy Chairman of the State Councill of
Tatarstan. People's Deputy of Tatarstan. Member of the Presidential Council,
Presidium of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic.
He is awarded with the order of Friendship. The candidate of agricultural
