Yakhin Rustem
Rustem Mukhametzyanovich Yakhin was born on August, 16, 1921 in Kazan. Initial music education he got at the First musical school. In 1937 he entered The Moscow musical school. During the war Rustem Yakhin served in the Ensemble of songs and dances. After the war he entered The Moscow Conservatory (a department of a piano and a composition). In 1950 Yakhin returned to Kazan. After pedagogical work in The Kazan Conservatory (1950-1952) he focused all his attention on creativity. In works of Rustem Yakhin a Tatar piano music rises on a level of professional music of the European tradition. R.Yakhin was not only a first pianist among Tatar composers, but also a first Tatar pianist-soloist who was engaged in concert performing activity. In concert programs Yakhin paid much attention to works of Russian and West-European classics, but later he concentrated on his own works. Compositions of Yakhin, as a rule, are optimistic. Yakhin always aspired to reproduce an individual manner of those composes he addressed to - S.Khakim, A.Erikeyev, N.Dauli. A melodic of Yakhin is closely connected to national folklore. Yakhin expands opportunities of the Tatar music, he develops traditions of Chaikovsky and Rakhmaninov, European romanticists of XIX century, impressionists and through this a listener enters into the rich world of images of the Tatar art and it turned out to be easier. |
