Basyrova Zifa
Zifa Basyrova was born on July, 4, 1910 in Muslyumovo village, Muslyumovsky district, The Republic of Tatarstan. She graduated from Kazan dramatical college and then about twenty years she worked in the Tatar state academic theatre n.a. G.Kamal. Her bright, original talent of a drama actress was disclosed there. She played a lot of roles. The songs, which Z.Basyrova performed in musical dramas of the theatre, became very popular among people.
Z.Basyrova began to sing in 1936, and by 1940 she was generally recognized as a performer of national songs. Together with a bayan-player Orkyya Ibragimova they organized a unique ensemble. They were the first performers of many tatar national songs on a stage.
Since 1956 Z.Basyrova worked in the Tatar state philarmonic society and became one of the best performers of the tatar national songs. Her beautiful and gentle voice, original mastery, good organized repertoire made her a well-known singer.
For her merits in Tatar art Z.Basyrova was awarded two orders of "Sign of Honour", medals and was considered to be an Honoured actress of Tatarstan.
Z.Basyrova died on February, 7, 1979. |
