Educational theatre to open in Kazan

In Tatarstan the project of a republican educational musical theatre for youth "Sozvezdie" (Constellation) has been created. As the youth festival it has no analogs in Russia yet.
It will be the first theatre in Russia to popularize cultural wealth. It will have classical and modern works in its repertoire.
At the present time only about 10% of Tatarstan theatres repertoire consists of children performances. Leaders here are foreign production which cannot reflect any national traditions.
Also the theatre will help to employ the graduates from the Kazan Conservatoire, Kazan State University of Culture and Art, and Kazan Theatre College. Every year we loose valuable creative staff which cannot get employed in the republic and has to go to other regions of Russia.
