Universities of Kazan must unit

National university on the base of the city higher education establishments, figured on 60 thousand students is probable to be created in Kazan. The adviser of the head of the republic on the science and higher education, the rector of Kazan State Technological University Sergey Dyakonov stated it yesterday at the session in the government of Tatarstan.
He explained, that initially creation of similar national projects in Krasnoyarsk and in the Southern Federal District was planned, which had to obtain support of 3 billion rubles. However, neither in Krasnoyarsk nor in the Southern Federal District local universities could agree between themselves about the association.
In the opinion of Mr. Dyakonov, 'in the similar situation Tatarstan can suggest propose an alternative project of the national university creation '.
National university is the large education center, where 60-80 thousand students study. For the comparison, in Moscow State University 50 thousand students study, and soon the best university of Russia is going to double this figure.
Such growth of student base is objective, as on the world market large universities, where over 60 thousand students can study are highly thought of
"Tatarstan project of the national university creation can win in the federal competition of innovation projects in the field of education. Preliminary estimations show that there is an interest to this proposal on the side of Moscow", stated Sergey Dyakonov.
