|Archeological museum of Kazan University
|Archeological museum of Kazan University is one of the largest and oldest museums of such kind. The organization of the museum began in 1810 with a purchase of coins and ancient items. In the first half of the XIX century, the functioning of the numismatic (so-called "myuntscabinet") and antiquities cabinets was the basics of the museum. By the middle of the XIX century, the museum had one of the largest numismatic collections in Europe. In the 60-s of the XIX century, cabinet-museums united into a museum of antiquities, fine arts and numismatics.

|Geologic-mineralogical museum is one of the most famous and rich natural-science museums, which is included in the list of the three best university museums of Russia. It is of the same age with Kazan University and was founded according to its regulations in 1804.
|A.M. Gorky Literary - memorial museum
|A.M. Gorky Literary - memorial museum is a branch of the State Amalgamated Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
It was established in 1940 on the basis of memorial bakery in the basement of the building, where Alexey Peshkov (А.М. Gorky) worked in 1886-1887 as a baker's aid.
|Salikh Saydashev`s Museum
|The museum was established in 1987. It was opened on June 25, 1993. The museum has been a branch of the State Amalgamated Museum of RT (SAM RT) since 1998.
The museum occupies a 2-story building, constructed in the beginning of the XX century. S.Saydashev lived in one of this house's apartments. The general area is 377, 2 sq. m.

|The museum of one of the greatest artists of the XX century Baki Idrisovich Urmanche was created in 1998 with Kazan city administration's participation. The museum is a branch of the National Cultural Center "Kazan". The goal of the museum is to reflect the life and work paths of Baki Urmanche - the founder of Tatar professional fine art - who significantly contributed to art culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Federation, and the former Soviet Union.
|N. Zhiganov`s museum - apartment
|In a solemn and exciting atmosphere, passed the opening of Nazib Zhiganov's memorial museum - apartment in house N 14 on Malaya Krasnaya Street, where the composer lived with his family from 1971 till 1988. Living in that apartment, he wrote fifteen symphonies, and also many other famous compositions.

Sharif Kamal (Baishildee) (1884 - 1942) was a Tatar outstanding writer who was recognized as a classic of Tatar Soviet literature. In addition to his literary activity, Sh. Kamal was a public figure.

|The State Amalgamated Museum of the Tatarstan Republic (SAM RT) (The National Museum of RT) is one of the largest museums of the Volga region.The museum was opened on April 5, (according to the old calendar style) 1895. The museum's type is general with all kinds of departments. Since 1981, the State Museum has been the central one of the museum association that includes 74 museums of the Republic of Tatarstan.
